Day 4

This day was really important for me because it was my first experience. It was my first time running this long distance. I used to do half-marathons, but now with this experience, I’m not afraid to do more than that. But I prepared my mind to do it and now I’m doing it. My goal right now is to get to the finish line in Jacmel. I want to run faster, but because I’m with David and the other runners, it’s important to be at the same speed with them. Just to encourage him to finish the run like I will. I’m not sad because during the run I find people in the street that ask me why I’m running, and it feels amazing to tell them that I came from Cap Haitien to St. Marc.
