GIVE A GIFT OF IMPACT.

Every individual has potential. By standing beside the families we serve, working to remove barriers to their success, and providing the necessary resources to accompany them to financial independence, we restore human dignity.

Our families in Haiti have experienced a challenging year, from political instability and unrest, and an unprecedented level of gang violence, to inflation where a gallon of fuel once reached $40 USD. They endured this time by sticking together and supporting each other, and through the generosity of your support, we were able to ensure essential needs are met.

As parts of the country are reopening, we have a huge task ahead to help our kids get back to school and our adults return to work. Below are key areas where our families can use your support.

Food and other Essential Items - a gift of $60

The United Nations reported last month that hunger has reached a catastrophic level, the highest level 5, with 4.7 million people facing acute hunger. A support of $60 a month will help a family put food on the table this month.

Access to Preventative Care and Treatment - a gift of $100

Haiti is experiencing a second Cholera outbreak that’s believed to have been brought on by the lack of sanitation and access to clean water as gang violence put communities at a standstill. While our hospital partners are doing what they can to treat their patients, the best defense is to ensure our families can access clean water and oral rehydration solutions and prevent a trip to the hospital. If needed, we want to provide our families the ability to go to hospitals with the capacity to treat cholera patients. Most recently, the Haiti Ministry of Public Health and Population, with support from the Pan American Health Organization has begun to administer vaccines and we’re working with our families to provide them access. Your gift will support ongoing prevention strategies and treatment for as long as it is needed.

The Ability to Return to School - a gift of $350

With the first semester wrapping up in schools all over the world, students in Haiti are just beginning to return to school due to the fuel crisis and heightened insecurity. the Ministry of Education in Haiti just adopted a new calendar for the current school year. A $350 gift will help us send one of our kids back to school.

Re-opening Businesses and Restoring Income - a gift of $500

While the country was on lockdown, most of our over 100 adult family members in our Workforce Development program have had to close their businesses, temporarily losing their main income source. A gift of $500 can help our families re-open their doors, and earn an income again. Contribute an amount of your choosing to our Small Business Fund to help a family member restart their business.

An Opportunity to Achieve - a gift of $1,000

Just 1% of students in Haiti have the opportunity to attend college due to a lack of funds or a lack of the ability to finish school. We want to help change that. By ensuring consistent access to education, our students are now graduating high school at a greater rate than students across the country, and have a shot at directing their own destinies. A gift of $1,000 will cover the cost of tuition for 1 year.

Full Wrap-Around Service for a Family - a gift of $1,500

We provide all of the above services to each and every WORK family member. We call it our Wrap-Around Service Approach to accompanying families out of poverty for good. For a gift of $1,500, you can enable our families to receive the support they need for a year to reach financial independence.
